Why a local lash artist makes fills easier
Extensions need fills every few weeks. Here is why being close to your artist matters more than you think.
Most people pick a lash artist based on photos. That matters. But after your first set, the thing that decides whether you keep loving your lashes is simple: can you get to your fills on time?
Fills are the real commitment
Your natural lashes shed every day, and extensions go with them. A fill every two to three weeks keeps your set full. Miss a few and you may need a whole new set, which takes longer and costs more.
Close means you actually go
When your studio is a short drive from home or work, a fill fits into a lunch break or a quick stop after work. When it is far away, you start pushing appointments back, and the set starts to look patchy.
What to look for close to home
- A licensed esthetician who does a real consultation
- A clean, private space, not a crowded floor
- Easy parking
- Someone who books your next fill before you leave
